We make our bourbon barrels with brand new, white american oak. We use a medium char on the barrel to give a nice flavor for the bourbon once it’s done aging, which we’ve found gives the bourbon the best flavoring. Our bourbon barrels are distillery grade – which is the highest quality available on the market and what distilleries use in their manufacturing – now available in your own home!
Our barrels come in different sizes from small to large and the small barrels will age bourbon faster if you’re aging at home. If you’re a bourbon aging pro, then the larger barrels might be best for you
Why Our Bourbon Barrels Are The Best
In America, regulations say that bourbon barrels must be created with new white American oak to be considered a barrel official for sale. Any barrels that are made with used or recycled wood are not to be considered fit for sale and tossed aside.
That’s why we source our wood across the US from California, Missouri, and Kentucky and we only use brand new American white oak. Our medium char is what we regularly use on barrels – but we have different chars available.
