A standard, large whiskey barrel can hold up to 53 gallons of whiskey or other aging liquid (200 liters). For half standard barrels, they would be half cut 53 gallon oak barrels and hold about 20-25 gallons of soil. It’s also possible to get whiskey barrel planters in other sizes.
