This item takes up to 5-7 days before shipping. One of our new 2 liter charred white American oak barrels has been pre-cured with 100% agave tequila right before we send it to you. There are more than 6 ounces of fresh agave tequila already soaked in to the wood of these barrels. Now you can start aging your new batch in an authentic tequila flavor infused barrel. What a great way to start aging your tequila at home. The barrel already has some great flavor soaked in so it won’t soak up as much of your tequila. NOTE – You will need to fill the barrel with your alcohol as soon as you receive it so it doesn’t dry out. Once an infused barrel dries out it may not seal up again. These barrels take an extra 2-3 days before shipping. Each infused barrel comes with a stand, bung and spigot.

- If you are aging some tequila it tastes better when you can age it in a tequila infused barrel since it will pull the flavors in from the wood.
- You may want to age something else in your tequila infused barrel. The tequila that is soaked in to the barrel will add a new flavor to whatever you age in it. You don’t have to purchase two different liquors – one to cure and flavor the barrel and one to age. The barrel will come pre-flavored.
NOTE – You will need to fill the barrel with your alcohol (or distilled water if you are not ready) as soon as you receive it so it doesn’t dry out. Once a used whiskey barrel dries out it may not cure up.
