Just finished off my first batch and these barrels are perfect. Mine required almost no swelling, an hour tops and she was sealed. I let 4L age for about 3 weeks with the Canadian Rye Whiskey essences and the before and after is literally Night and Day. From melting off car paint, to being as smooth as silk in weeks, it truly can turn the harshest of alcohols into top shelf quality. Not one complaint from anyone that’s tried it. It practically pays for itself with the money you can save buying from a Liquor Store. The additions in this Gold Package sweetens the deal that much more. I would 100% recommend these products to anyone that wants to experiment with flavouring their own neutral alcohols, or even to age store bought spirits.
